The Landgasthof Danne scores with a very nice beer garden right next to the monastery church, a seasonal menu above the normal restaurant level and friendly service. A comparison of the last few years shows a gourmet upward trend. With the prices too.

Danne used to be a hot guy this time I was very disappointed the steak for a proud 28.50 euros too small the fried potatoes, no fat no onions only roasted potatoes the salad was good

Despite a reservation in the outdoor area, we had to wait half an hour for the table because it was "occupied" by other guests. Annoying when you have your offspring with you. The service staff tried to put us off or offered us a place in the dark inn in summer temperatures and the best weather. When we were told that we had reserved a table outside, we were given a tired smile. That's not how I imagine hospitable gastronomy! The choice for vegetarians is also limited!

Went repeatedly to the family dinner at Danne. The service is always very polite and courteous. Particular attention is also paid to children and loving care is taken care of. Everything is taken care of, from children's chairs to children's plates with motifs and small cutlery. The dishes are always delicious. Good middle-class, fresh and well-rounded. We would love to come back! It is always advisable to order a table in advance.

Here you can really very good and delicious food. The service was very thoughtful, friendly and fix. One should however pre-order a table. The beer garden is also recommended in good weather.

After visiting the Oelinghausen monastery opposite, I was asked for a good coffee and a piece of cake. I then took a seat in the beautiful beer garden, which provided pleasant shade in the sunny weather. Here, too, I must praise the soothing peace, which you could already enjoy in and around the monastery. I was offered strawberry cream as a cake. I also ordered this and was extremely pleasantly surprised. The cake matched the warm weather and the strawberries in it not only tasted very good but were refreshing as well. The cream was not too powerful and overall the cake was an experience that you do not get everywhere. The menu looked pretty neat overall. There was even a vegetarian dish, which someone had denied in a previous commentator. Overall, I would recommend the place without reservation, especially since the service there has been very friendly.
